Amroli Police arrest 108 illegal gamblers

Surat authorities have detained nearly 108 individuals in connection with illegal gambling. A spokesperson for the Amroli Police confirmed that they raided 14 spots during the Bhim Agiyaras event. Agents recovered cash and multiple items with a total value of Rs 26,92,870. The Bhim Agiyaras festival is known for its increased gambling activities.

Gambling raids

Gambling ArrestPolice officers seized cash and numerous items with a total value of Rs 21.27 lakh from nine suspects. They were detained at Mota Varachha’s Rajhans Tower. Additionally, more than thirteen individuals were detained at a Mota Varachha-based location. Agents seized several valuables and cash with a total value of Rs 70,200 from the thirteen suspects.

Underground gambling business

Seven gamblers were caught red-handed at a location in the city of Amroli. Police officers arrested them and seized cell phones and cash with a total value of Rs 53,150. A spokesperson for the Amroli Police stated that Subhash Vaghasiya operated the underground gambling business. Vaghasiya lives in the area near Kargil Chowk, the spokesman added.
